Santa Cruz City Schools is proud to announce that two members of the Class of 2011 have been named Semi-Finalists in the National Merit Scholarship competition.  Shamik Mascharak and Analisa Shields-Estrada are among the top 16,000 students of the 1.5 million students who took the PSAT last Fall.  Should they advance to the Finalist level, they become eligible for a number of scholarship awards.
