Santa Cruz City Schools is composed of an elementary and high school district governed by a common Board of Education and a general administrative staff. There are six schools serving nearly 2,200 students in the elementary district, including a Dual Immersion Program. The secondary district includes two middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, a continuation school, an independent studies program and a home school program with a combined population of approximately 4,660 students. Our Santa Cruz Adult School has approximately 6,000 enrolled students. One of our district goals is to recruit, select, and retain outstanding employees to educate and serve the students of Santa Cruz City Schools. Uniform/Williams Complaint

A complaint is a written statement alleging discrimination, harassment, or a violation of a federal or state law or regulation. A complaint must be filed by way of the Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP) as written in the California Code of Regulations, Title 5, sections 4600-4687. Issues that may involve filing a complaint using the UCP are under various state and federal programs that use categorical funds such as Adult Education, Career Technical Education, Child Development, Consolidated Categorical Programs, Indian Education, Migrant Education, Nutrition Education, and Special Education.
